With the Diablo III: Eternal Collection coming to the Switch later this year, expect BlizzCon to be more than just a promotion of the title. īlizzard has already confessed that some Diablo projects will take longer than others, but considering Diablo III became the fastest-selling PC game of all time, Diablo IV will presumably be a priority for the studio. Considering Diablo III is now six years old, there has been plenty of time to let the dust settle and move forward with Diablo IV.
Aside from an animated Netflix series based on Diablo, another main series game is almost certainly one of the projects in Blizzard's pipeline. Players already know that Blizzard is working on multiple Diablo projects at once. A “ Diablo: What’s Next” panel is taking place on November 2, and although almost every Blizzard game has a similar panel, the timing of Diablo's just after the main stage keynote is enough to get fans talking. While Diablo is sure to be a talking point of November's BlizzCon, developers are keen to put some of the rumors to bed ahead of time.
